er? Closing CeremonyI pretty much echo what has been said before that it went on for a bit too long. Also maybe show the photos on the large screen during the time the staff set up from the Skits to the Auction. Even though it was brilliant to see the photos, I found it wasn't fair on the person on stage whom the audience were being distracted from. No one expected the auction and closer to go on as long as it did. but it was all for agood cause and everyone had fun. Everyone next year is gonna try and keep it a lil shorter but no promises as for the photo slideshow. That was being worked on till the very last minute before the it started. Nearly 1700 photos were taked by our lovely photographers and as a result they were rushing to get the slideshow done and add the stuff from sunday aswell. Thanks for the input everything is kept in mind. ANd i'll talk to Moon and Drew about it for next years slideshow about possibly working on it across the weekend so they can do something earlier. |

So could we chalk that up to an idiot move on my part and accept my apology? I didn't mean any disrespect, Isis was and is one of my favourite contestants. Also, if you were one of the girls who came up to me to talk about that at the quiz, I'm sorry if i was a bit short with you. We were desperate to finish and get some sleep at that stage. I wasn't trying to put the blame anyone in particular, I was just pointing it out. Don't worry about it, it's all good in the hood  |

I had actually expected to show them during the break between the auctions and closing ceremony. But because the auctions ran over time and we had to go straight into the closing ceremony with no break, we made a rather quick decision to show them during it. I had spent hours, missing out on events and all, trying to convert photos (RAW to JPEG) and pick out good ones, and then narrow that all down to just a select few. It would've been a shame not to give people a taste of the photos to be uploaded (plus after my hard work I would've been mad not to show them!). But I quickly realised that it was a big mistake when people were too busy looking at the photos and not listening to what was being said. Which was a huge pity  totally agree there. |

Nom-con was brilliant so it was, to the point that I Was even ill and still enjoyed all of it, was so epic, cant wiat till next years (0w0)

Actually no I would think the photo's worked quite well at the time they were being placed because of how long the auction had taken I didnt really wanna hear the closing ceremony xD (no offence Nate  ) so it was really nice seeing them up there  !! they looked great 2 Moon you did a fantastic job!! |

The ONLY thing I found a little annoying was the fact that the schedule was posted online only a few days before the con started (it left people little time to plan photoshoots and such). N-C was simply an amaaaazing con. The ONLY thing I found a little annoying was the fact that the schedule was posted online only a few days before the con started (it left people little time to plan photoshoots and such). But I know there were a few issues with it and all, and besides that; WOW! Good on all of you planners and gophers. - D.A. Yeah I totally agree with you on that one. We're very, very sorry for the schedule being thrown up there last minute, but like you said, we had a few issues regarding the timetable itself and some technical difficulties. We all agreed that we definitely have to have the 2011 schedule up much, much more in advance, so we'll do our best next year. Thanks for pointing that out |
