Is there going to be a maid cafe this year?  'cause i might try it this year ;D and could yous think about putting Omu-raisu,ƒIƒ€ƒ‰ƒCƒX, omelette rice, on the menuu~ :3 ? |

there is indeed ;D but sadly i think there's a rule about not being allowed to make handmade food without additional complicated licences  But i'm not sure. Hopefully someone will be able to fully clear it for you  Either way, the café still tons of fun so you should come by anyway |

There will definitely be maid cafe again this year As for the omelette rice, secretanimeaddict is right. We're not allowed homemade foods, due to health concerns. The freshly baked cakes we get must be from a baker's that has all the licences the D4 hotel management require. It's for health and safety purposes. You should come along though - it's great to just sit down, relax and have a cup of tea!! |

Any chance of some real food? Meaning, I love cake and all, tis great, but not for dinner. Didnt get much of a chance to mosey about last year so I dont know maybe you did have some but if you didn't, any chance of it this year?
Also BRING BACK THOSE LADYBUG CAKES!!!!! PLEASE!!! I spent a month after nom 2010 dreaming about them!

I spent a month after nom 2010 dreaming about them! Dinner is not doable for the Maid Cafe. Our maids are volunteers with varying degrees of waitressing experience and we don't make any food fresh due to the hotel's strict regulations. However, D4 hotels has a cafe that serves hot food and a bar that does likewise, and both are open until late at night (memories of a great veggie burger at three in the morning come flooding back....) so if you need dinner there are other options. I'm afraid the Ladybug cakes won't be back, as they don't conform to the regulations. However, they are sold in the bakery kiosk in the Jervis Street Centre so you needn't do without ^_^ |

it is a candy the top can be either banana,strawberry,chocolate etc.. and at the bottom is a buiscut bit. any asian food shops would have them ~(^__^)~

You know, next year we might have a philosophical surrealist maid cafe. The cakes will be famous quotes about cake written on paper plates and the tea will be the promise of a song. |
