Hi everybody, hi doctor nick

For anyone who dosent know this is a rock music festival held in punchestown in the first weekend of july each year.
Now why is this being posted in a thread you ask, last year they added a fancy dress friday to the festival. Dress up on the friday of the festival, take a photo of you in costume at the festival, submit the photo afterwards and if you could win a free tickets to next years festival.
I brought my costume last year, but the weather was cold so dressing like grimmjaw didnt appeal at the time. So far the acts are blink 182 and the foo fighters I wanna see them so I'll be going and bringing a costume for the friday.
Is anyone else going this year, and more importantly is anyone bringing a costume?

Highly unlikely to be going, if I go to a music festival I'm much more likely to go to Electric Picnic, former Oxygen-goers said they stopped going because Oxygen turned into Skangerville

Well I cant go to Oxegen yet >.<
But like, would'nt you not get worried about your cosplay getting ruined?
Cos you know, Oxegen has bad luck when it comes to weather

@pksmurfettegirl, it sounds like you've never been to either so I would suggest you go to electric picnic first as it is an easier going atmosphere, but watch the line up. Last years line up was all bands that reformed after 30 years so most of the crowd was in their mid 50's. And Oxegen like every other festival has a skangerville section, but I'm not going to let that ruin a rock and roll weekend for me

hetaliafangirl oh I'm not going to ware the cosplay for the whole day, to minimize damage to it. But yeah I wouldn't suggest bringing something brand new and delicate cause it could get ruined. Replace the word Oxegen with Ireland, cause if you go camping for three days in this country regardless of the time of year and you'll get wind and rain, but it dose always seem like it rains more on that weekend.

Well yea, I See your point now but if I were going {just a few more years!}
I'd wear probaly bring my 'cheapest cosplay'
Like I definaly wouldnt go as sumone like Alphonese Elric who requires a massive costume I'd probably go as Amu from Shugo Chara cos all you need is a styled wig, and I guess I could het away with wearing a top and say it's her in causual XD
