Nom-Con Highlights!

Now that the con has ended, it seemed like a good idea to have a thread for all of our favourite moments from the whole, awesome weekend!

One of the things that just made my weekend was how many people recognised my cosplay! I thought it'd be one that wouldn't get a lot of attention, especially since it still needs work.. The amount of people who were pleased to see a Tsubasa cosplay really made me feel good inside ^-^

Now, how about everyone else! You've all got to have some nice memories of the weekend!

Mine was meeting a few of the forum people

oh i also loved when the mad hatter cosplayer shouted ''Teto!'' and waved and smiled at me ^^

The Whole weekend was brilliant even though I was absolutely exhausted the whole time but one moment brought a massive smile to my bearded face, After the closing ceremony alot of the staff and committee were very tired and sitting around having a drink and some pizza. My sister starts dozing in a chair beside me and Ryan in his Glorious wisdom shakes her awake and in his Northside accent he exclaims "Eat Some Harribo" Like it was the answer to all lifes problems. I nearly fell over laughing.

For me it was a number of things:

* When I was pushing chairs around in preparation for the disco and some attendees who had every right to sit and watch me work got up and helped me move them

* Keith and Moley's reactions to my potty mouth at the hentai panel (and actually, the hentai panel)

* When the stage hall was swamped for the second half of the Anime Murder Mystery, and the whole of Lolier than Thou

And I still have that little doodle you did while you were despondent over your firing. ^_^

But I love you, really !

The games room was the best part for me, that was so awesome.
But really, there was too much wonderful stuff to pick highlights! XD

Possibly seeing Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Moon. But the entire weekend was amazing!

• Everyone who spent time with me, greeted me and did again whenever they passed, small but lovely thing to me, meant a lot because I came up on my own
  
  
• Seeing people I knew from before, like Clair, Sorcha, Ryan, Teri, Keith, Marianna (+more)
  
  
• Winnie coming over and taking my first photo and letting me sign her little book (awwwh!)
  
  
• Games room even though I lost nearly all the matches and whoever was the guy who let me use his fight stick thing which was extremely ahsum of him.
  
  
• Millennium Earl Cosplayer who answered all my questions on how he made the mask and pumpkin
  
  
• Team Half Furies (even though I agree Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! was a better name)
  
  
• Spending the night with Liz, Sinead and Tree ~<3
  
  
• Luigi (male Luigi) and his friend's reaction to me knowing "I hope you made lots of spaghetti"
  
  
• The Asian woman in the shop who seemed mesmerized by my costume somehow
  
  
• Michael Abrahamson who made the balloons for charity, unreal how much talent he has
  

I'm sure there was more highlights, so I edit this if I remember.

I honest to goodnes can't pick a highlight of the con. There was too many awesomet hings going on the entire weekend for me to be able to honestly single anything out. Be it chatting with the peeps in the room, hanging out in the bar with all the attractive ladies. (woo Half Furry) browsing the traders hall or just the pannels/events. (musical chairs, hentai pannel, VA Q&A and the Anime Murder Mystery) it was just great ot be4 with the people around the place.This has been my absolute best con experience. I don't have a lot to go on but it was big enought hat it had everything I would want and small enough that I could actually make some awesome friends while I was there. (Ninja Orange, Black for Minister and anyone elese who's usernames I can't remember I remember your realy Names I swear so don't feel bad. just harras me on any of hte IM clients on my profile. nomrally on msn the most aim after that. )

The committee were so nice I can't wait to hang with them again and as for next yea. the budgeting begines in january.

my personal highlights

- that suosuke cosplayer girl who was counting her hugs shouting 'i need 25 more for a thousand' and everyone comes running lol

- being in the lolita quiz, even though i was kinda picked out randomly....

- the skits! hilarious, just they were all so awesome!

and definitely the cosplay wedding and all the people who were wearing such amazingly awesome cosplay!

and all the lovely people i meet and talked to, this was my first con, and everyone was so lovely....sad it over now, miss the random shouting

There was just so many highlights for me, but the one that stands out the most would be the end of Sunday, just after the skits, I got Jim's "Slave" t-shirt that I'd been wanting since the moment I saw it.

GO JIM!!! XD

And the awesome hugs and glomps I got off everyone, all you guys were epic =]

Hey Dont worry about it, Im glad it provided many a lol ^ ^ There's no way I could have done it, I was sooooo tired by this point. If you had seen me before the quiz and after I was running around like If I stopped I'd Explode heeee~
