Not much info out yet from what I can find, but as far as I know many of the committee members are also on the ayacon committee, and ayacon was epic!

An over 18's con to my knowledge just to let you know.

If I can scrape up the money I WILL go to this con!

Ayacon was 100% totally awesome. I think my friend and I met Treechan there, while very drunk and complained about the lack of irish people and talked about tayto for a bit... Hahah.

Ame has been changed to an over 18's con for 2010 and it is being held at Keele Uni from the 13th to 15th August, they are leaking little bits of info on the facebook page, just to keep everyone from going mad..

i'll be at the two hopefully, but it'll be a lot of scrimping and cosplay sorting at the start of the year, I'd have nom con, then ame, then alcon within 2 months

Every Amecon I've been to was exceptionally kickass. Changing it to an over 18's is a first I think but that makes for more interesting panels and such And yeah, a lot of the UK cons are organised by a particular group of amazingly hard working people, such as Amecon, Ayacon, and Auchinawa.

I really want to go too, especially since it took a year out and Ayacon came back(there was a lot of complications). They're back with a vengence...and pocky!

Ame registration opens on Feb 15th. Anyone thinking of trying to go to Amecon then Nom two weeks later? Heh. My friend and I are going to attempt it. Turn August into Con month. Woo!

Well summer is the best time for lots of conventions! ^^ If I'm not going to Japan in September I'll be sure to go to amecon
