But you don't have to be a character that already has one; you could always just think up your own kimono for whichever character you want (if you think that sounds easier). 83 - D.A. |

Which day, and what time, is the Prom at?
Im not sure if im gonna go T_T
Im sure it would be tons of fun, but i have a hard enough time packing all my normal cosplay stuff, let alone formal wear as well. (not that i even HAVE formal wear. Im not usually into that kinda thing, and im totally strapped for cash for the foreseeable future @_@)
Plus my friend and her little brother are coming along with me as a group. Im guessing this would be for older cosplayers only?

In general what counts as formal-wear anyway?
a Tux? Dress? Shirt & Tie? School Uniform? Military Uniform? Kimono? Gothic Lolita?

It'll be on Saturday evening, and it's not an extra cost - you're entry ticket (day pass or weekend pass) covers access to all events, panels, games, etc. So if you're going on the Saturday, then you're ticket already lets you get into it. And we're trying to iron out the details - we don't want the prom to be age restrictive, so we're trying to sort out the best way to prevent underage drinking at it, so that all ages would be able to go, and that no one ends up getting into trouble/kicked out. |

Sounds like a fun time, the nom-con prom.
I read on the thread about something that you wear too a wedding is formal enough to be able to use for the prom. So like a suit would be good enough with tie?
I would'nt be going there to win whatever people do at these proms but just to have fun and enjoy myself with others. Just to see what its like.
